Why does the article label Obama's action as "centrist?" Do you agree with the assessment? If he were acting differently, what label would likely be used instead?
-Centrist comes from the word center, and obama's decision is in the middle of all of this is in the middle. I cant see why he is in the middle of this situition because i see no reason for the government to need to keep secrets from us. If obama is thinking that they need to, then what is he doing or saying behind closed doors? Secrets are kept either because you have done something wrong or it was a bad decision and if you dont say anything you have a better chance in not getting caught. When obama was runing for presdent he wanted the government to be more open with the nation, but now something has changed and i would like to know what that is? If he were to decide to make the decisions even more closed then people would call him a liar and he wouldnt have a very good rep for the next four years. If he stopped the secrecy i have a feeling that people would have more respect for him and trust our government more.

Should we have to have voter I.D's to vote?
- Personally I do not think that we should need to have voter I.D's to vote. It makes everything much easier to register before hand and on voting day just give your name and address, get the ballot and vote. Say for instance some one forgot their voting I.D at home, does that mean they are S.O.L? Another example is what if it got stolen? do you never get to vote again? or would you have to Pay for another one to be made?? If you are voting in the general election its every four years. People change their looks, and for me it would be hard not to loose the card because i don't use it every day.

Is the two party system good or bad for democracy?

-The two party systems are Republican and Democrats. I think that we should have more then those two parties because for people like me who haven't chosen a side need a middle party to represent them. This doesn't mean that there should be only three total parties, but maybe there could be multiple or even up to 7 different parties that focus on different concerns. This would help get a broader decision, rather then one way or another. We need to have options so we can get more ideas in the air and get out of the recession.

1. Personally I do not think that everyone should receive free health care. Yes, I think that we need to go more green so the earth will be more pure :). Outsourcing jobs are most likely bad for America because Americans need the jobs to survive and not them.

-My dad does not keep up with the political issues, so my opinion came strictly from my view and believes. I have only read about the environment in articles in magazines, but have not read about health care or outsourcing. Yes, in class this is allllllll we talk about...

2. For my question i am choosing, "Should the federal government do more to save the environment?" From my research i found that people are interested but are not going to go out of there way to help because they dont think that it is going to happen. Also they are putting the burden on the states to fix this problem, not the federal. The Democrats thought that there was little chance in fixing it. The republicans think that the state should do it.
